I help small businesses work better.
If something is taking too long, losing customers or just feels harder than it should, I can help work out what's wrong and build a better way.
What I help with
Start with what isn't working.
I work from the problem rather than forcing every business into the same technology or process.
Cut repetitive work.
Reduce copying, chasing, reporting and admin. Keep people involved where judgement matters; automate the rest.
Make the website do its job.
Clarify the message, improve the customer journey and build the changes — not just a presentation about them.
Stop opportunities getting lost.
Put simple structure around leads, follow-up, customer feedback and things someone currently has to remember.
Make information easier to use.
Turn scattered documents, inboxes and spreadsheets into something people can actually find and act on.
Use newer technology where it helps.
Sometimes that's AI. Sometimes it's a basic workflow or a decent spreadsheet. The result matters more than the label.
How I work
Understand it. Fix it. See if it worked.
Most small-business problems don't need a transformation programme. They need a clear first improvement.
Show me what happens today and where it gets painful.
Find the change most likely to make a meaningful difference.
Prototype or implement the better version quickly.
Use the result, learn what changed and iterate from there.
Ways to work together
A simple place to start.
These are starting points, not rigid boxes. If your problem doesn't fit neatly, tell me what's going on.
Business review
For when you know something could work better but aren't sure what to tackle first.
Focused sprint
Pick one worthwhile problem. Understand it, improve it and put the better version into use.
Build / improve
For a more substantial website, workflow, internal tool or connected system.
Ongoing help is available from £3,500/month when a longer relationship makes more sense.
About
I'm Luke.
I'm an engineer by training who's spent most of my career somewhere between technology, customers and businesses.
I've worked across engineering, operations, product, technical sales and early-stage companies. I'm most useful when a problem is messy, crosses a few functions and doesn't have an obvious off-the-shelf answer.
I use modern AI and automation heavily, but clients shouldn't need to care about the jargon. The point is to save time, serve customers better and make the business easier to run.
What's not working as well as it should?
Tell me what's happening. I'll read it before I reply, so we can start with the useful bit.
